Paving the way for you to apply for your MCA Yacht Rating Certificate*

Two weeks on board completing RYA Competent Crew and Watch Leader

STCW training including Personal Survival and Fire Fighting

RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate

RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling course

Windweaver of Pennington is a custom-built classic yacht

Steel Ketch Monohull

The last yacht to be designed by the late Robert Clark

MCA coded yacht, inspected yearly and has the highest standard of safety and equipment

Currently based in Portland Marina with easy access to the Solent, Channel Islands and beyond

The Career

Our team boasts 24 years of experience spanning the yachting industry

Windweaver training is the only UK-based training provider to supply training on a Superyacht and as such gives you the advantage of getting used to large yacht safety and systems including a dedicated engine room

Time spent on Windweaver counts towards MCA sea time requirements

We have the very best instructors in the industry and you will have two RYA instructors on board (Captain and 1st Mate). These instructors are handpicked for their knowledge of large yachts and excellent instructional ability
